“I’m a million different people from one day to the next”, so it’s hard to narrow “Who I Am” to a couple of web-friendly paragraphs, as that continues to unfold on a daily basis!
I have been on a 20+ year quest for truth and self-actualization that has manifested in a variety of ways both personally and professionally over the past several years. I am a wife and mom doing my best to use the ups and downs of marriage and parenting as a pathway to forgiveness and growth. I’m committed to practicing patience, compassion, non-judgement and kindness towards myself and others on a daily basis.
Being a parent in this lightning-paced, digital world and a proponent for true health and wellness from the inside out has led a pretty wide range of passions, interests, causes, and missions that I’m pretty fired up about.
I have my career in recruiting, sales, and career coaching and currently head up contract negotiations and lead strategic partnerships for the fastest-growing cyber security search firm in the country.
I love sharing food, places, products, & services that are kind to your body, mind, and soul, and I have come to believe in a holistic and integrative approach to healing through alternative approaches that treat the whole body.
In my copious spare time between working full-time and having 2 kids, I became a Certified Health Coach at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) so I could continue connecting the dots between how food and lifestyle choices affect how we show up for just about everything.
I studied with many of the leading medical doctors, PhDs, researchers and authorities in nutrition today, covering over 150 dietary theories and taking a holistic approach to wellness that includes looking at the quality of your relationships, career fulfillment, self-expression, and spirituality as essential components to building good health.
What I have discovered is that there is no one way of eating that works for everyone. We need a deeper perspective that integrates nutritional science, biological individuality, and most importantly, learning how to listen to our bodies for what they truly need.
I encourage you to experiment with new foods and pay close attention to your body’s responses. Being healthy is not about willpower or discipline – it’s about asking yourself what you are really hungry for from a mind, body, spirit perspective, what nourishes you, and ultimately what brings you joy and fulfillment so you can experience yourself as your true self, your best self.
I get heart palpitations when I discover things that I feel I MUST share with others, so I’m super excited to showcase them here. I have great admiration and respect for anyone who is passionate & dedicated to creating innovative, amazing products and services that aim to create true health, vitality, and happiness from the inside out!
