I’m thrilled to invite you to a “Conversation in Kindness” with Michael Lloyd-White, the Chief Advisor to the Board of World Kindness USA, to explore how we can create a kinder world starting right here in our amazing community of Fairfield!
First Selectman Tetreau is our guest of honor, as this subject is near and dear to his heart. He has been a huge supporter of our “Kindness Matters” initiatives since we launched our Kindness Committee at NSS in 2012. At that time, he drew up a Proclamation for the town to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Week annually.
We will all learn together what each of us can can do to become recognized as a “World Kindness City” and place kindness on the agenda in our local government, schools, corporations, small businesses and retail outlets, non-profits, and, of course, our families.
World Kindness USA was launched last year and is a platform for national collaboration based on a foundation of kindness designed to encourage and support all sectors of our communities to engage in this global campaign. The time is now to join the campaign for a kinder world which welcomes everyone regardless of tribe, race, religion, gender, politics, age, sexual preference and/or zip codes.
You are receiving this invitation because I know you are passionate about this topic as well. Join us for wine and cheese from 5:30-6:00 pm. Michael Lloyd-White will be speaking at 6 pm sharp.
A very special thanks to PTAC President Carolyn Trabuco, and her husband, Mauricio, for graciously opening their home to us. We are thrilled to come together as a community on this critical topic that affects our homes, schools, workplaces, and community!
